Garden Works Sculpture Exhibit ~
In 2017, Oglebay launched its inaugural Garden Works Sculpture Exhibit on The Hilltop. The lush beauty of the Bissonnette Gardens was accentuated by captivating works created by acclaimed artists hailing from West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. The sculptures were constructed from repurposed stainless steel, bronze, polymer, and other materials.
In celebration of the inaugural Garden Works Sculpture Exhibit, Oglebay purchased Miss West Virginia, a sculpture by Wheeling artist Jeff Forster which demonstrates the idea of reuse through the incorporation of discarded materials. Guests can catch a glimpse of Miss West Virginia nesting in the treetops next to the Palm Room.
