Deer Hunt ~

November 4, 5, 6 & 7, 2024

The primary hunt will occur between November 4 through 7 with additional dates and zones available for selection up to December 31. Each day, following a safety briefing, the hunt will begin 30 minutes prior to sunrise and 30 minutes after sunset.

How to Participate

A limited number of archers will be selected through a lottery system, to participate in the 4-day hunt and will be assigned specific locations by the Director of Park Operations. While it is highly suggested that an archer have the National Bowhunter Safety Certification through the National Bowhunter Education Foundation, it is not a requirement for this hunt.

Archer Requirements

  • Provide copy of valid driver’s license (18 years old minimum)
  • Provide copy of valid West Virginia hunting license
  • Archers must complete all parts of the application.
