Home school students will explore the Oglebay Good Zoo while participating in behind-the-scenes tours, STEM activities, and career exploration.
High School Program:
Investigate zoo exhibit design by exploring elements of animal physiology, architecture, landscaping, budgeting, and graphic design. Students will create, within their given budget, a proposal for a new zoo exhibit encompassing these elements.
Middle School Program:
Enrichment is a way that the zoo provides mental and physical activity for the animals by allowing them to make choices and exhibit their natural behavior. Through the exploration of animal structure and psychological needs, participants will design an animal enrichment activity.
Good Zoo Members: $90 first student, $70 additional siblings
Non-Good Zoo Members: $110 first student, $90 additional siblings
Program cost includes lunch on Wednesday
