• General Information

  • Check-In: Begins at 4 PM.

  • Check-Out: Please depart by 11 AM.

  • Smoke-Free Stay: All rooms are non-smoking for a fresher, cleaner experience.

  • Pet-Friendly: Dogs are welcome at our resort. Pet-free rooms available upon request.

  • Extra Bedding: Family-friendly pack-n-plays and rollaway beds available in select rooms for a small fee.

  • In-Room Safety: Crockpots, hotplates, and other cooking appliances are not permitted.

  • Must be 21 or older to reserve a room.

  • Quiet hours are observed from 11 PM - 7 AM.

• General Policies

  A one-night deposit, including tax, per room is required with each reservation.

  Advance deposits with credit cards are charged to your account the day the reservation is taken. Lodge room cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to the arrival date are not eligible for refunds. Late arrivals, no-shows, or early departures will be charged for the full amount of the original reservation. Cottage and Home cancellations made less than 90 days in advance of the arrival date results in forfeiture of the entire deposit. Cancellations made more than 90 days in advance will receive a full refund.

  Advance purchase reservations require payment in full at the time the reservation is made. Advance purchase rates are non-refundable. Cancellation and changes to reservation will forfeit the total room payment plus taxes. Advance purchase rates will be identified at time of booking. Offer is not applicable to groups of 8 or more. Blackout dates and restrictions may apply. Advance purchase rates cannot be combined with any other offer, sale, promotion, package or prior reservation.

• Cottage Stay Information

  • Check-In & Check-Out: Check-in begins at 4 PM. Check-out is by 10 AM. A late check-out fee applies.

  • Fully Equipped Kitchens: Includes cookware, dishes, glassware, utensils, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, and more. Dishwashers available in select cottages. Ask the front desk before using additional appliances.

  • Home Comforts: Each vacation cottage has a TV with cable and a telephone for your convenience.

  • Linens Provided: Fresh sheets, towels, and pillowcases included. Daily linen exchanges available at the Cottage Linen Room. On-site laundry facilities available.

  • Complimentary Firewood: Firewood provided—call the front desk by 1 PM for same-day delivery of additional wood.

  • Pack-n-Plays & Rollaways: Pack-n-Plays and rollaways available by request for a small fee at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Keeping Things Tidy: Guests are responsible for keeping the cottage tidy and the kitchen clean before checkout. Please don’t hang laundry outdoors. Excessive cleaning or damage may result in additional charges.

  • Outdoor Grilling: Each cottage includes a charcoal grill (charcoal not provided).

  • Smoking Policy: Rental cottages are non-smoking. Please avoid rearranging furniture or placing flammable items near heat sources. Open fires are not allowed.

  • Outdoor Enjoyment: 10’x10’ canopies are welcome. Tents, RVs, and trailers are not permitted in resort or cottage areas.

  • Age Requirement: Primary guest must be 21 or older.

  • Golf Cottages: Reserved for groups of 8 or more.

  • Parking: One vehicle allowed per bedroom (e.g., 4 vehicles for a 4-bedroom cottage).

  • ATM On-Site: Available at Oglebay Lodge front desk.

  • Cleaning Fee: Applies to one-night stays.

• Pet-Friendly Policies

  • Pet Fee: $50 per stay (excludes ADA service dogs), charged separately on your receipt.

  • Pets must be up to date on vaccines; records may be requested.

  • Pets must be leashed or restrained in all public areas.

  • Pets must be supervised at all times. Pet-sitting info available at the front desk.

  • Display the “Do Not Disturb” pet sign when your pet is in the room.

  • Pets are not allowed in the spa, zoo, shops, dining areas, or museums.

  • Please clean up after your pet to help keep the grounds clean.

  • Guests are liable for any damage or injury caused by their pet(s).

  • Pets are only allowed in designated, registered pet-friendly rooms.

  • Guests accept responsibility for pet-related damages and agree to hold Oglebay harmless.
