As the season of spring emerges, Oglebay invites you to a restorative weekend focused on your mind and body. Rest in stillness. Grow through a mix of dynamic and unique yoga offerings designed to uplift your spirit and embrace a new way of being.
This experiential retreat will include multiple yoga experiences for all levels of experience, T’ai Chi, meditation and more. It is perfect for individuals, couples, families, and friends looking to reconnect, reflect and renew.

Morning Movement
Begin your day full of energy, focus and vitality as you increase strength and flexibility while lowering stress levels.

Sound Bath Meditation
During this sound therapy session the ethereal, ambient sounds of singing bowls will transport your mind into a deep meditative state.

Walking Yoga
Prepare to reconnect with your body while quieting your overactive mind as you practice mindful walking and focus on the repetitive rhythm of your breath.

Mindfulness
Learn what stress, anxiety, and trauma are and how they show up in your body and your life and how you can practice mindfulness to manage it all.

This series of movements and postures are performed slowly and focus on a person’s body, mind and spirit.

Meet the Instructors
Dr. Judy Romano
Yoga Instructor & Brain Longevity Specialist
After serving the community for 30 years as a pediatrician, Dr. Judy Romano is enjoying bringing yoga to the community in fresh and exciting ways. She is certified in Yoga Medicine which believes yoga is accessible to everyone, enhancing health and longevity. She is also a Certified Brain Longevity Specialist through the Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation. Dr. Judy’s classes blend knowledge of anatomy, movement, and the use of yoga as a therapeutic modality to meet each student where they are in the practice. Mindfulness and meditation practices along with the physical postures allow for a well-rounded experience for both mind and body. All levels of practice are welcome in her classes.
Zachary Templeton
Yoga Instructor
Zack has been a practicing yogi for about 14 years and teaching for 3 years. After repeated burnout and injuries and participating in rigorous exercise programs, he discovered yoga. Allowing it to change his life, he attended Heartwood Yoga Institute in Bradenton, Florida for his teaching certification. Zack also has additional certifications in yin yoga and aerial yoga and now spends his days practicing and teaching others the benefits of yoga.
Joelle Moray
Mental Wellness Coach
Joelle Moray viscerally believes there is a better way to live than what we’re taught in traditional medicine and talk therapy. And she is on this planet to bring people together, to get curious about the body and mind, and to explore a better way to live. Joelle is a writer, speaker, teacher, and healer with 15 years experience of bringing people to their highest potential. And is working on her first book. She is certified in Integrated Somatic Trauma Therapy, trauma-informed mindfulness, trauma-informed yoga, and psychological first aid. Joelle is currently finishing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Clinical Rehabilitation with expected completion in December 2023. Sarah Wood
Yoga Instructor
Sarah completed her 200RYT certification in 2011 while living in Hawaii. She taught locally at Happy Goat Yoga up until 2020. Her classes focus on grounding breath-work and will take you through a series of gentle yoga postures, while incorporating guided relaxing meditation techniques. Her hot power yoga classes were challenging, but the walking yoga will be a more moderate level of gentler yoga. She will have a lavender aromatherapy treat that will leave you relaxed and refreshed.
Steve Perdok Sr.
T’ai Chi & Qigong Instructor
Steve Perdok Sr. Is an accomplished martial artist in Karate, T’ai Chi, and Qigong and has over 40 years of instructing children, adults, and senior’s in different modalities of Healthy Arts and exercise. His latest certification is from Dr. Paul Lam’s T’ai Chi for Health Institute for T’ai Chi for arthritis and fall prevention.
Chelsey Keding
Sound Bath Meditation, Reiki, Voice Lessons & Performance Coach
Chelsey Keding was born and raised in Wheeling, West Virginia. She began singing at age seven and received her Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from The Manhattan School of Music Conservatory. She spent the next ten years performing in NYC and around the world building an extensive musical background from Broadway show performances to taking the stage with iconic musicians. It was through all of these experiences that Chelsey became interested in the healing side of music, sound, and energy. This led her to The New York Open Center Sound and Music Institute where she completed the Certified Practitioner Training Program in 2014. She also received her Reiki Master certification through the Center for True Health in 2017. In 2017, she also completed 100 hours of Yoga Teacher Training at Amazing Yoga in Pittsburgh. She was an Adjunct Acting Professor at Marietta College in 2021 and has been running her own Voice Studio in the Ohio Valley for the last seven years, teaching lessons to students of all ages.
