The West Spa welcomes you to a variety of wellness classes, whether you are just beginning your wellness journey or looking for new ideas to mix up your current routine.   • Hatha Yoga photo

    Hatha Yoga

    Hatha (Gentle) Yoga is a fun and inviting combination of physical exercises and breath control. It may improve strength, flexibility, and balance, and has been shown to deepen relaxation and improve sleep. This class is especially great for beginners or those searching for the therapeutic benefits of yoga.

  • T'ai Chi & Qigong photo

    T'ai Chi & Qigong

    T’ai Chi is an exercise of the body, mind, and spirit—a series of movements and postures are performed very slowly. Qigong is the practice of aligning the breath with stationary, coordinated, slow repetition of fluid movements in a calm, mindful state. These exercises have been shown to reduce anxiety, depression, and chronic pain conditions.

Meet the Instructors

Steve Perdok Sr. – T’ai Chi & Qigong Instructor 

T’ai Chi and Qigong instructor Steve Perdok Sr. Is an accomplished martial artist in Karate, T’ai Chi, and Qigong and has 40 years of instructing children, adults, and senior’s in different modalities of Healthy Arts and exercise. His latest certification is from Dr. Paul Lam’s T’ai Chi for Health Institute for T’ai Chi for arthritis and fall prevention. 

 

 

 

Zachary Templeton, RYT-200

Zack has been a practicing yogi for about 14 years and teaching for 3 years. After repeated burnout and injuries and participating in rigorous exercise programs, he discovered yoga. Allowing it to change his life, he attended Heartwood Yoga Institute in Bradenton, Florida for his teaching certification. Zack also has additional certifications in yin yoga and aerial yoga and now spends his days practicing and teaching others the benefits of yoga.
