The West Spa offers a variety of wellness classes ranging from Yoga to Boot Camp. These group wellness classes take place in our spacious Movement Studio, and the cost is $12 per class, plus applicable taxes and fees. Payment may be made at The West Spa front desk prior to class.

Meet the Instructors

Stephanie Wharton – Health Coach

Are you feeling overwhelmed? Are you struggling with chronic illness and need answers now? Meet Stephanie Wharton, a Board Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach with advanced training in Blood-Chemistry Analysis.  Through her unique process, Stephanie provides targeted bio-track analysis, mindset shift support and nutritional therapy to enable her clients to ultimately step into the radiant, powerful, and confident lives they were born to live.

Anna Pishner Harsh – RYT 200

Anna is a professional dancer and award-winning choreographer who holds a BA in Dance from Slippery Rock University and a MA in Communication from West Virginia University. She also holds a certification in STOTT PILATES and has instructed dance at West Virginia Northern and WV Governor’s School for the Arts. Her work has been featured in Dance Magazine, Danza Italia, and Dance Spirit Magazine. Anna enjoys traveling to Italy to research Italian culture and dance while visiting her family and friends.


Laura Hitchman

As a practitioner, Laura learned about the mind-body connection and discovered her love for using yoga as a healing modality through heated power vinyasa classes. In 2015, she earned her 200 hour certification in Baptiste Yoga in Charleston SC and has been teaching ever since. She is not only passionate about yoga, but enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, eating well and loves meeting new people. Her intention for 2018 is to create more balance and settle into those sweet spots, whole-heartedly. 

Laura’s creativity lends to her unique ability to sequence a fun, energetic and strong flow that will leave you feeling grounded and easeful.  By encouraging her students to tune into their bodies she builds a platform for Sthira and Sukha (strength & surrender) by holding space for students to find that “sweet spot.”

Class Descriptions

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Also known as “Gentle Flow,” this fun and challenging Vinyasa sequence is designed to cultivate focus, stamina, strength, and flexibility. This class is especially great for beginners or those searching for the therapeutic benefits of yoga.

No prior experience needed.

Power Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Power Vinyasa Flow is an energetic yoga workout. Fluidly move from pose to pose with increasing intensity, while connecting your breathing to your movements. This class will pick up your heart rate and focus on strength and ab work.

No prior experience needed.

Restorative Yoga

Finding focus by centering your breath and body – aligning the physical and mental by practicing stillness or gentle movement for extended periods of time. Props are incorporated to increase the duration of held poses. A great way for the mind and body to find stillness. This class is relaxing and gentle to restore and rejuvenate your body.

No prior experience needed.

Hatha Yoga

Great for beginners and those with a good deal of history with the body. Pranayama (breath work), a short guided meditation, and asanas (postures) consisting of a combination of seating and standing round out this practice.

Ballet Yoga Fusion

This class incorporates the breath and stretching aspects of yoga with the strength building of ballet aiding in correcting posture, targeting specific muscle groups, and lengthening as well as toning muscle.

No prior experience needed.


This 60-minute class combines high intensity intervals into Vinyasa Flow. Harness the power of your breath to glide you through the flow sets engaging deep core muscles, strengthening the body by improving cardio endurance, balance, and posture.
