You’re almost halfway there! Here’s clue #4. The eastern hellbender is North America’s largest salamander, reaching almost 3 feet long! Although, they may not be the most attractive animal to look at, their gray wrinkly skin serves a purpose. Because they live underwater, and they are amphibians, the extra skin provides more surface area for them to breathe oxygen.
