Upgrades to West Wing and Lakeside are available for an additional $50 per room, per night. Up to two children ages 12 and under receive a complimentary overnight stay, free breakfast and daily activity wristband. Labor Day Fireworks Extravaganza
Sunday, Sept. 4 at Dusk
Grab a spot near Schenk Lake or The Hilltop as the night sky comes alive with an unforgettable fireworks display!
Fireworks begin at the conclusion of the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra Music Under the Stars performance, which takes place at Anne Kuchinka Amphitheater on The Hilltop.
Fort Henry Days
Saturday, Sept. 3 & Sunday, Sept. 4 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. | Levenson Shelter
Witness history come to life through dramatic battle re-enactments and period-correct demonstrations at Oglebay’s Levenson Shelter and Camp Russel areas. Prepare to be transported to the time of Betty Zane, Sam McColloch, and Lewis Wetzel when uncommon courage was commonplace.
Battle for Fort Henry
Saturday, Sept. 3 & Sunday, Sept. 4 at 3:00 p.m | Camp Russel
Watch the acclaimed battle re-enactment of the siege of Fort Henry with young Betty Zane’s heroic run for gunpowder.
Music Under the Stars
Sunday, Sept. 4 at 7:30 p.m. | Anne Kuchinka Amphitheater
Join the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra, conducted by John Devlin, at Oglebay’s Anne Kuchinka Amphitheater. Plus, enjoy an incredible fireworks display at the end of the show!
