A Summer Evening of Flavor, Music & Community at Wheeling Park

As communities across the country celebrate America 250, Wheeling Park invites you to gather for an unforgettable evening inspired by the traditions, flavors, and connections that bring us together. The All-American Street Dinner combines festive American fare, live entertainment, and warm community spirit in a relaxed open-air setting designed to celebrate our nation, our community, and the traditions that make Wheeling Park special.

Set beneath a canopy of red, white, and blue, guests will enjoy a chef-inspired family-style dinner featuring classic American favorites with a creative twist. Throughout the evening, live music, culinary experiences, and interactive moments create an atmosphere that feels relaxed, festive, and full of connection.

From the first cocktail to the final toast, this is more than dinner — it’s a celebration of summer, community, and the moments that become lasting traditions.

    6 PM | Welcome Cocktails & Pre-Dinner Experience

    Guests will be welcomed with a signature cocktail, hors d’oeuvres, and an engaging mix of live experiences, including culinary demonstrations, a roving acoustic guitarist, and a plein air artist painting throughout the evening.

    At 6:45 PM, the celebration continues with a welcome toast and special remarks from Wheeling Park Commission President & CEO, Bob Peckenpaugh.

    7 - 8:30 PM | Family-Style Dinner Experience

    Enjoy an elevated picnic-inspired dinner featuring bold American flavors, seasonal ingredients, and dishes designed to be shared.

    9 PM | Celebratory Toast & Farewell

    Close the evening with a celebratory toast and fireworks fountain show as we honor community, connection, and summer traditions at Wheeling Park.

    Proceeds from the evening’s art auction benefit the Oglebay Foundation's Access to the Parks Program.
