Get ready for an exciting weekend at Winterfest from January 24-26! The festivities kick off with the Polar Plunge on Saturday, January 25, benefitting Special Olympics of West Virginia at Schenk Lake. Throughout Winterfest, you’ll enjoy thrilling competitions, stunning ice sculptures, and plenty of winter fun. Then, join us Saturday night for the Winterfest Party, featuring Zack Attack, prize giveaways, and more.
Two-night packages starting at $239 per person
Package Includes:
- Two-night accommodations at Wilson Lodge
- Breakfast each morning
- Free admission to Oglebay Good Zoo
- Free ice skating admission at Wheeling Park
- Free lift ticket on Saturday at Oglebay’s Winter Sports Complex*
- Winterfest party featuring Zack Attack Saturday evening
*Winter Sports Complex operation is weather dependent
*Package rates are per person, based on double occupancy and do not include applicable taxes and fees. Up to two (2) children ages 12 and under lodge for free and receive free breakfast. One free admission to Good Zoo and Wheeling Park ice skating per person. One lift ticket per person, per reservation. Winter sports and ice skating equipment rentals not included.

Take an ice-cold plunge into Oglebay’s Schenk Lake at the annual WinterFest Polar Plunge! All proceeds benefit Special Olympics WV.

Saturday from 8 – 11 pm | Pine Room
Come on up to Oglebay’s Pine Room for a WinterFest Party featuring live entertainment with Zack Attack.
Event is free of charge and open to the public.

Warren Miller's "Timeless"
Friday at 9 pm | Wilson Lodge
Join us in Wilson Lodge for a movie night featuring “Timeless” by Warren Miller, a documentary that explores the excitement of winter sports, featuring athletes from around the globe.
