    Celebrate at Oglebay Zoo with a hassle-free party. Includes zoo admission for 25, a private room, paper goods, and a team member to assist. Add animal encounters or tours for extra fun.

    Planning Your Big Day?

    Zoo parties are perfect for all ages—our team is experienced in creating memorable celebrations tailored to your group. Parties can even be scheduled outside of normal zoo hours, based on availability through the Zoo Office. Since parties are held year-round, weather isn’t usually a problem, though some activities may be adjusted based on the season or facility availability.

    Each party includes chips, fruit punch, and 25 cupcakes. You're welcome to order additional food through the zoo (with at least five days’ notice) or bring your own. We just ask that you keep outside food to a minimum due to scheduling and space. Decorations and paper goods are included, and you can choose from a variety of themes. You're welcome to bring your own decorations, though nothing can be taped or tacked to the walls, and only pull-string piñatas are allowed. Access to the party room typically begins 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.

    As for gifts, it’s completely up to you. If you'd rather enjoy more zoo time, you may choose to open presents at home. A zoo staff member will check in when you arrive to confirm your preference.

    Party Inclusions

    Choose between the classroom (up to 35 guests, includes animal habitats) or the larger multi-purpose room (up to 55 guests).

    The basic party package includes zoo admission for 25 guests, a two-hour party room, paper goods, chips, punch, 25 cupcakes, and a staff member to assist.

    Additional food, beverages, and experience add-ons are available for an extra fee and must be scheduled at least five days in advance.

    We handle setup and cleanup—you just show up.

    Scheduling Your Party

    To book a party, please click, "Reserve Your Party." Parties are held year-round on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM - Noon or 1 - 3 PM. Please book at least two weeks in advance.
