Visit West Virginia’s only AZA-accredited zoo, and connect with over 68 species, including rare and endangered animals.

Oglebay Good Zoo is dedicated to conservation, including rehabilitating migratory birds, conserving monarch butterflies, and preserving Eastern hellbenders. The zoo works with the West Virginia Division of Wildlife and participates in important Species Survival Programs (SSPs) to protect endangered species.

Founded in memory of Philip Mayer Good, the zoo is the only AZA-accredited zoo in West Virginia. It offers hands-on learning opportunities through its partnership with West Liberty University and provides innovative enrichment for its animals.
