Oglebay Renovations ~

Oglebay’s extensive and exciting renovations to Wilson Lodge, all of which are part of a multiphase evolution to enhance the experience of community and resort guests, are almost complete!

Upon arrival, guests will soon enjoy a redesigned curbless entrance, accessible for guests of all abilities. A newly added porte cohere will provide comfort and protection from bad weather when entering the lodge. Inside, guests will be greeted with a transformed lobby and Sarita’s Coffee & Goods, a reimagined venue with barista-style coffee drinks, fresh baked pastries, grab-and-go food items and apparel and keepsakes.

The redesigned dining spaces within the Lodge will celebrate the spirit of Oglebay and the rich history of our region. Trace Chophouse and Skyline Kitchen & Bar will delight patrons with creative menus, thoughtful interior finishes, and energizing activations.

During the renovation period, guests and patrons seeking lodging, dining and spa services can access the temporary main lobby at the Lakeside entrance. Simply follow the signage as you arrive at Wilson Lodge and park near the temporary entrance. Come enjoy the elegant transformation of Hickman Lounge as it will now serve as the Bar & Grill for the lodge offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner options.

The renovation costs are partially covered by a grant from the Economic Development Administration (EDA). The Oglebay Foundation will also play a crucial role in securing the remaining funds through its “Forever Yours: The Campaign for An Enduring Oglebay.” This campaign aims to gather philanthropic support for significant renovations across Oglebay.
